Indianapolis City Council bans topless public appearance

The Indianapolis City Council approved an ordinance by a 27 to 2 vote prohibiting the upper torso exposure in public. The measure follows a dancer’s arrest for indecent exposure, later found innocent after testimony she wore flesh colored attire making her appear bare from the waist up.

Jury to See Gyro Flight in Indianaplis

A stock fraud trial jury in Indianapolis was ordered to witness a flight test of a gyronate aircraft. Judge S Hugo Dilln presided with eight jurors and three alternates. The demonstration was sought by Defense attorney Vance Waggoner but not allowed at the Muncie plant site of Air and Space Manufacturing Inc. The defendants face conspiracy charges over misrepresenting the gyronlane's future and the company's financial outlook.

Apparent self-inflicted death investigated in Vigo County

Mrs. Ruey Hendry, 67, of 120312 Mulberry, was found dead in her apartment by police Monday evening. The case has been turned over to the county coroner. She is survived by two daughters, a mother, a sister, a brother, two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
