John M. Hefty 63 former secretary treasurer of Wabash Realty died Tuesday morning at 3 55 at St Anthony's hospital after several weeks illness. Railroad Welder Loses Legs In Yard Accident
Victor Horn, 43, of Paris Tl., a welder for the New York Central Railroad, was seriously injured when a train moved and three cars plus a caboose passed over his legs near the Twenty fifth street crossing. Rescue crews freed him after more than two minutes. both legs were severed and he received plasma at Union Hospital.
