A blaze on State Road 240 south of Taos destroyed the Church of the Creative Spirit and about 100000 dollars of art and antiques owned by painter Charles Collins. Pastor Sandra Kovacs described a total loss of the devotional space while Collins reported about 10000 dollars in antiques and handcrafted skylights lost.
