Olona gets probation for embezzlement case in Taos
Michael D. Olona former Taos Municipal Schools business manager was sentenced to four and a half years probation and ordered to pay over $2,000 in restitution after a Taos jury found him guilty of three counts of embezzlement. The jury hung on seven counts and a mistrial was declared. The district attorney said he would not seek retrial on those seven counts.
