At the Gus dorf Road and Old Talpa-Cafton Road intersection in flood prone terrain, Addie Vista Inc seeks 19 lots on 2374 acres. John Shaw and Jim Hyde ask for more time to finalize a drainage master plan to support final plot approval.

Taos County officials pledged help to residents opposing a gravel pit and rock crushing near Hondo Mesa, aiming to block relocation of Perovich operation near U.S. 64 by the Rio Grande Gorge bridge. They will press the owner to delay mining until jurisdiction and zoning questions are answered under a new temporary ordinance.
At St. Anthony's Parish Center on May 20, Questa's Fiesta Queen's Pageant featured girls ages six to 17 performing songs, poems, and dances before judges and 50+ Questefios. Margaret Pacheco 17 and Meghan Brown 14 aided Reina Santistevan 12, while Jessica Archuleta Elisha Cordova were junior queen candidates and Leslie Archuleta Maria Wilson Nicole Trujillo were princess candidates.
Taos police report a series of burglaries targeting downtown galleries. Two suspects described as Hispanic or Italian were active, entering stores to distract staff while the other stole items near the door, including statues, two rugs valued at 3400 and 1500, two Chavez sculptures, and a silver pendant.
