Kimmey 71 native seed pioneer dies in Crestone Colorado
John Kimmey a Hopi prophecy interpreter and educator died of cancer at 71 in Crestone Colorado last month. Cremation has occurred and a memorial reception is planned May 15 at the New Buffalo Compound Arroyo Hondo Taos. He funded seed banks and Native crops work across New Mexico and Hawaii.
