State backs Sanchez suspension and reprimand
The New Mexico Judicial Standards Commission seeks Taos district Judge Sam Sanchez suspended for 30 days without pay and publicly reprimanded for contempt of court in 2009 involving about 32 people from Taos Pueblo. The recommendation, filed with the state Supreme Court, also orders 30 percent of costs covered and publication in the Bar Bulletin.
