Conquering math via new computer game Ko's Journey
Former Taos County resident Scott Laidlaw helps develop Ko's Journey an epic math learning game for fifth to eighth graders. The Web based program weaves algebra geometry and ratios into a fantasy story where a girl crosses deserts and cures a wolf. It aligns with National Council of Teachers of Mathematics standards and supports regular curricula across the country including Taos schools.
