George E Segura aged 31 of Cerro died May 15 in a San Luis car accident. He is survived by his widow Mrs. George Segura two sons William and Marian two daughters Claudinita and Nicol his parents Mr and Mrs Juan Segura of Fort Garland five sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held May 18 at Guadalupe Parish Cerro with rosaries May 16 and May 17. Burial in Cerro local cemetery. Pallbearers named. Garcia Funeral Home arranged arrangements.

Three Taos County Men Enlist in Army

Three Taos County men Henry Garcia of Ranchos Peter Fresquez of Penasco and Victor Romero of Vadito have enlisted for two years and are undergoing basic training at Ft. Polk Louisiana. Fresquez and Romero are recent Penasco High graduates while Garcia attended Taos High before enlisting.
