Taos men face license suspensions and revocation
Four Taos County men had driving privileges revoked or suspended by the Driver Services Division of the Department of Motor Vehicles. Jose Finton Cisneros, Taos, and Leroy Vigil, Cerro, were suspended for driving while intoxicated. Wallace Tito Archuleta, Talpa, had a suspension for probation violation, while Dillon Manuel Chavez, Ranchos de Taos, had his license revoked for violation of suspension.

Wild turkeys fate debated by Game Department
Time Out reports the Game Department will send two turkeys to the State Game Bird Farm in Carlsbad due to no wild turkeys at the farm. The other six will likely be released in the Pensaco area when able to fend for themselves. Official notes weather will largely determine hatch success in northern New Mexico and beyond.

Taos District Joins Great Plains to Expand Conservation

Taos Soil and Water Conservation District will speed up practices to combat weather hazards with local leadership and federal state coordination. Jose M. Lopez 61 of Los Alamos and Canon died at Holy Cross Hospital Taos Sunday May 21 after a short illness. Born Starkville 1905 he worked as power plant operator for Zia Co Los Alamos since 1946 and earlier for Half Moon Taxi Trinidad and State Highway Dept. Police Arrest Three Suspects in Taos Break-In
Two Taos adults Johnny Mascarenay, 20, Tony Sandstevan, 18, and a 17 year old juvenile were arrested at Harper Motor Co on Kit Carson Road last Wednesday night. Mascarenay and Sandstevan are jailed awaiting hearings while the juvenile is referred to juvenile probation officer Mary Martinez. Officers Abeyta and Gallegos reported the suspects were spotted during routine patrol and a spotlight revealed two ties behind the building. None had Harper property in their possession.
