Holik's missing passport found in Taos search

Taos police recovered Barbara Holik's passport among her personal effects as the 33 year old Taos woman who vanished on June 27 remains missing. Hans Holik a German police officer was in Taos through Aug 22 assisting the search and relocating her belongings. Police chief Curran called locating the passport a major development amid ongoing interviews and leads.

Boyne sues Pacheco over three claims in filing

A notice of intention to sue was filed against Taos district attorney Sammy Pacheco on August 22 by former assistant district attorney Shawn Boyne. The claim alleges Boyne's termination from the Eighth Judicial District Attorney's Office around June 27, 1995, constitutional rights violations, intimidation to end her attorney-client relationship with John Paternoster in a disciplinary matter, and related actions.
