Death Takes Mrs Thompson Santa Fe Resident Dies at 53
Florence Hays Thompson, a Santa Fe resident for three years, died at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe Tuesday at 53 after months of illness. Cremation was held in Albuquerque Memorial Chapel. Former New Yorker active in Santa Fe golf circles, she is survived by husband Paul B. Thompson son Jonathan Wor, two sisters Mrs Tom Bennino of Taos and Mrs. Robert Blickensderfer, and brother Randolph Schmalhorst.

Carlos Mossman aged 37 died in Taos on August 5 and was laid to rest at Eagle Rock Cemetery in Questa. Rev. Zaia officiated at St. Anthony Church. He is survived by wife Mary Ann Mossman, son Robert Joseph Mossman in Washington DC, daughter Elia Herrera of Questa, sister Mary Wyatt of Salt Lake City, nine grandchildren, and pallbearers Dave Mossman Ted Mossman Pat Mossman Eloy Mossman John Mossman Arthur Mossman. Road crews clear mud covered highway after slide near Cottonwood
A three mile stretch of state road highway crews and a Moly Mine operator used a backhoe to clear 330 feet of mud and rocks left by a slide near Questa Cottonwood Lodge.
