Horses die on highway after pickup crash in El Prado
State Police say a northbound pickup driven by Joe D. Ortega struck a mare and her foal wandering onto SR 3 near the El Torreon Trailer Park Road intersection with SR 8 Friday night. Both horses died on impact. owners remained unreached early this week.
