Child Hit By Auto Near New Tabor Theatre
Janet Harrelson, a laugher of A. FP Har 'Jarendon, was struck by a car near the New Tabor Theatre last Thursday night about 8 o'clock. The vehicle driven by Lacy James Fowler could not be prevented. The child was taken to Columbus County Hospital for minor cuts and bruises and was not seriously injured. Columbus County Schools will open August 20 at 8:30 a.m. Superintendent W. J. Boger Jr announced. Bus drivers and supervisors are being arranged. Jessie Irene Baxter of Cleveland County has been hired as one white supervisor for the coming term. The Tabor City faculty list is given for grades one through four.
