Howlett Hill Church Founding and Early Vt Roots
Howlett Hill Church formed in 1795 with Parley Howlett Sr as an early organizer. The community near Tully in Onondaga County built its first edifice in 1821 and the church later moved to Onondaga Hill. Members included veterans and Polish Roman Catholics known as the Polish Falcons, with burial grounds remaining at the churchyard. The history references Laurene Robinson and early Baptist factions.
