A private plane crash Saturday near Burlington Vermont left a Clay woman dead and three Syracuse area residents injured. Officials report the incident as the sole fatality among the group, with responders rushing to the scene.
City Budget Director Robert Sprague says Syracuse University could lose the 50 000 seat Carrier Dome if more than 581 533 in 1982 city and school taxes remain unpaid. SU challenges the bills in court and the city may seize and resell the property to cover back taxes if not redeemed within a year.
