Weather Bureau Warns Storm South of Pensacola
The U S Weather Bureau warned of a tropical storm centered about 550 miles south of Pensacola Florida with winds near 75 mph at the core and squalls to 60 mph around a 100 mile radius. The storm was moving west-northwest at 10 to 12 mph and urged vessels to exercise caution.

Allies Plan Curb on Axis Civil Aviation
Washington reports that the Allies will seek to ban production and import of military aircraft in Germany and Japan after the war.
