Sandals found as probe of slaying advances
City police report locating sandals believed worn by Terry Cornell the 20 year old woman found dead in a ditch off McDonald Road. The fatal wounds were four head stab wounds and two chest stabs with a heart thrust. Investigators noted hair strands and grass blades on the victim and searched the area with a helicopter and bloodhounds. No suspect yet and lab results pending.
