Three Off-Duty Officers Shot in NYC in Separate Incidents
In a span of under 12 hours three off duty New York City police officers were shot. A Queens officer at 99th Street and 32nd Avenue was killed with a gunshot to the head. In Brooklyn a second officer was critically wounded at Avenue J and 85th Street during a robbery attempt. A third officer was shot in the hand and leg at New York Avenue and Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights. Jamayne Anthony, 25, was in stable condition at Kings County Hospital.
