Watertown Slaying Suspect Held in Batavia
State Police detained 26 year old Richard H. Miller in Batavia for questioning in the death of Claude C. Schrodt 56 whose body was found in a culvert near a rural Watertown road. Schrodt reportedly died from a fractured skull after blows with a heavy instrument. Miller, a former Camp Drum soldier, was last seen with Schrodt and had bought an auto from him the prior day.
