The United Nations Security Council will meet tomorrow to consider an Egyptian protest over continued fighting in the Negev area of Palestine. Last week the council ordered Egyptian and Israeli forces to halt the war in the southern Palestine desert.
A C-47 carrying 22 people plunged into two old barracks at Chanute Airbase in heavy fog, killing the pilot co pilot and crew chief. Nineteen aboard were injured, many with head injuries and broken bones, as the wooden barracks cushioned the fuselage. Miller taken to Onondaga General Hospital with a fractured skull and head lacerations. cause unknown whether struck, fell, or attacked. Positive ID confirmed at hospital.
The forecast says today will start cloudy but clear by late afternoon with fair and moderately cool conditions tonight. Temperatures drop to around 35 degrees with yesterday’s high at 63 and low at 41. Tomorrow looks sunny and warmer with a high near 65 degrees.
