Fire kills two in trailer blaze at Scofield Park
Two brothers Arthur Scofield 77 and Ward Scofield 82 died in a trailer fire in Scofield Trailer Park on Johnson Road in the Town of New Haven near Oswego. Firefighters found the men in a bedroom and hallway after prying open a door. The alarm rang about 6 50 a.m. The district attorney said the deaths are accidental and the fire likely started from a stove pipe.
