Promise Keepers Rally Packs Washington Mall Grounds

Thousands of Christian men gathered on the National Mall for an all day Promise Keepers prayer meeting. Supporters pitched sleeping bags and carried duffle bags as they joined a march of worship and pledges to live godly lives with families, churches and communities. President Clinton Receives Hearing Aids During Physical

The FBI said murder in America fell to 19,645 last year, a 9 percent drop from 1995, with the murder rate at 7.4 per 100,000, the lowest since 1969.
