Billie Sol Estes, noted swindler from West Texas, is indicted along with five others and a defunct corporation on charges of theft. The case centers on alleged fraudulent schemes and related financial misconduct.
Heidi Pickins 31, a home health aide with prior arson and theft history, was arraigned on third degree grand larceny for stealing two Chinese porcelain statues worth at least $5,000 each from a 100-year-old client. The statues were recovered after George Collins 23 tipped investigators.
