Highway Accidents Kill Three In New York
Three people died in separate crashes in Oswego and Onondaga counties. A 31 year old Camillus man died when his car left Route 11, hit a pole, flipped, and caught fire. In Hastings, Theresa Dillenbeck and Rust Allen died when their car, clocked at 118 mph, crashed into trees after a chase. Allen, driving 118 mph, died at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital. Police cited alcohol influence and charged Allen with driving while intoxicated.

Outbreak at psychiatric clinics sickens many during Thanksgiving
A 61 year old woman died and up to 100 others fell ill after Thanksgiving meals served Wednesday at Rockland Psychiatric Center outpatients in Mount Vernon Yonkers and Trek hoe. Food prepared by Flik International Corp caused vomiting nausea fever and diarrhea with 20 to 30 Iona College students among those affected. A hospital intensive care patient died from a heart attack whose link to the illness is undetermined.
