An Army B-29 plunged into stored P-47 fighters at Tinker Field last night, killing co pilot Lt. William Walkemeyer and Sgt. John Langenberg and injuring five others. The bomber had just lifted off, then dipped and struck the decommissioned planes, bursting into flames. Four fighters were destroyed and 12 damaged. Also listed are Lt.
