Man slain in apartment in DeWitt
Anthony Maldonado 21 a Town of DeWitt resident was found shot to death early today in his Springfield Gardens apartment near LeMoyne College. Police call it a homicide with autopsy pending. Maldonado lived alone and had moved there less than two weeks ago. A green 1971 Ford Torino found abandoned on S Salina Street is not linked to a motive or suspects.

Postal Clerk Kills Supervisor Then Ends Own Life
In Rochester at the main post office a clerk, Frank Trullo, age 33, shot supervisor John Skipper, 30, who was engaged to Trullo’s former girlfriend. After firing five shots at Skipper, Trullo killed himself. The woman involved and about six other employees witnessed the shooting.
