Prisoner Helps Rescue Deputies In Heavy Rain Crash

Joseph Hall, 23, riding unhandcuffed in a patrol car transporting two Fayette County deputies, kicked out a window after a wreck on a 150 foot embankment and helped summon aid. Deputies Bull Cooper and Steve Borders were injured. Hall later led responders to the scene and was taken into custody. Hall faces one to five years for theft and related charges.

Parolee charged in slaying of Camillus native

A paroled ex convict was charged Friday with murdering 23 year old Camillus nursing student Jenna Honis in her Albany apartment. Honis was found on her bedroom floor after a 911 call and died at Albany Medical Center Hospital. The suspect, Nicholas Eugene Pryor, 29, of Albany, had moved into her building in July after prison release despite parole board concerns. Pryor and Honis were acquaintances but not in a relationship.
