Sandra A. Sweeting, 27, of 207 Melone Village, Auburn, died Wednesday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital in Syracuse. She was a lifelong Auburn resident. Surviving are three sons, her mother Shirley Sweeting, maternal grandmother Edith Sweeting of Syracuse, four sisters, five brothers, and several aunts and cousins. Services Monday 11 am at B A Hereck & Son Funeral Home. Burial Evergreen Cemetery Scipioville. Calling hours Sunday 2-4 and 7-9.

Finkbeiner rites set for 85 in Lakeland and Rome

Services for Agnes V. Finkbeiner will be held Monday at Frasier- Sheddson Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Church Lakeland. She died Thursday in a local nursing home and is buried at Assumption Cemetery. Surviving are two daughters Helen Koslowski and Ann Shaw, a son Herman Jr., four children and two great grandchildren. Contributions may go to Lakeland Senior Citizens. Also noted are funeral services for Nellie Tooke Hotchkiss at St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Rome City with burial at Valley View Cemetery Sherrill. She was 1, a native of Peterboro, and survived by husband Warren and daughter Doris Jean Hotchkiss. Contributions may be made to St John’s Church.

Retirement Auburn captain Robert Riley dies at 87

Robert J. Riley, retired Auburn police captain, died Friday at Auburn Memorial Hospital after two days as a patient. Born in Genoa, he lived much of his life in Auburn, served 33 years with the department from 1929 to 1962, and was active in local clubs and associations. Surviving relatives include nieces and nephews. Services are set for 9 a.m. Tuesday at Farrell Funeral Home with Mass at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours Monday.

Sister M Leontine 28 oldest Franciscans member died Friday at Jolenta Hall after a long illness. Born Anna Daschner she joined in 1905 from Albany and professed in 1915. She taught over 50 years in Syracuse Albany Cleveland Camden Trenton and served in Utica hospitals before retiring in 1975.
