Marilyn Monroe Final Days doc sheds new light on star
Hal Boedeker reviews The Final Days, a two hour reconstruction airing on AMC. It revisits Monroe’s 1962 Something’s Got to Give production, her firing, the pact with 20th Century Fox, and the myths surrounding her. The piece argues Monroe was complex, professional yet inconsistent, and reshaped public image after being dismissed from the film.
