Isidore Ginsberg, a 300 pound lawyer and lumber dealer, and his son Maurice N. Ginsberg, 20, both indicted by a Brooklyn federal grand jury on 39 counts of mail fraud. Dr John C M Brust aged 45 of 318 Berkeley Drive died yesterday after an apparent skull fracture. Autopsy by Coroner Dr Harry L Gilmore found a base skull fracture from a fall with brain hemorrhage. Police tracing surgeon’s movements since he left home Thursday for a Toronto consultation, car found parked near Medical Arts Building.
In Shamokin Pennsylvania two of three trapped miners, Edward Teck and Peter Gordon both 42 and 35, were rescued after more than 60 hours in a water crowded shaft. They were brought to Shamokin hospital for first aid while Charles Bashore remained missing, reportedly in the sump at the Independent mine. Rescue workers waded through five feet of water to reach them after contact was established late Tuesday.
