Washington dispatch reports former Agriculture Secretary Charles F. Brannan, aged 58, intends to enter the Colorado U.S. Senate race as a Democrat. Eugene D. Millikin, representing Brannan’s camp, said candidacy papers would be filed in the next few days. Brannan, Denver attorney and Truman appointee, previously served as agriculture secretary from 1948 to term end.
