Longtime nurse Louise Hallchurch dies at 90 in Loretto Center
Louise Hallchurch 90 of East Brighton Avenue died Sunday at Loretto Health Care Center. A native of Elmira she lived in Baldwinsville and Chittenango before moving to Loretto in 1991. She was a registered nurse at Syracuse General Hospital and later worked in Crucible Steel health department retiring in 1978. Survived by son Donald and daughter Edith Pinegar, plus siblings and grandchildren. Services 8 p.m. Tuesday at Loretto Chapel. graveside 11 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial scholarship being arranged through Chittenango Central High School.

Survived by mother Nora Sirrine brother Bert Sirrine five grandchildren and three daughters Wendy Holland Jane Oursler Maureen Elliot. Services Wednesday 9:30 am at Tait Funeral Home and 10 am at St. James Church officiated by Rev. Henry J. Pedzich. Burial in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours 4 to 7 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to local emergency groups.
