State police report an eight year old, Brandon Burke, of 1713 Apulia Road, died after riding his bicycle into a car’s path. The 7 p.m. Saturday collision occurred near University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A tourist boat sank in 51 feet of water on Lake Hamilton near Hot Springs Arkansas Saturday. Twenty on board were plunged into the water as passengers, including three children, panicked for life preservers. Nearby residents pulled victims from the lake.
