Death of R G Kenefick Former Sports Editor Dies at 90
Robert Gladstone Kenefick 90 of 101 Woodbine Ave died this morning in St Josephs Hospital after a long illness. He served as sports editor of the Syracuse Herald from 1912 to 1920 and of the Syracuse Journal until 1939. He later held posts with the Midget Auto Racing Association and the U S Trotting Association. He published the Eastwood Recorder in Syracuse until his death. Born in Boston on March 20 1806 he was the son of Judge Thomas W Kenefick and Katherine Reilly Kenefick. Concluded on Page Lit.
