Grand jury declines to indict over shooting after mall killing
Grand jury refuses to indict Todd Broom who shot at Eddie Edwards after Edwards killed Demetria Taylor in the Irving Mail parking lot. Prosecutor Norm Kinne says the act was not justified. Broom says he acted in reaction and did not consider himself a hero. Edwards, 41, died after the crash following the gunfire. Broom faced possible murder charges but avoided indictment.
