Insurance executives fined for GOP fee-splitting scheme in Onondaga
Two insurance executives were fined 500 dollars each and their firms 2000 dollars apiece for a scheme aiding Republican candidates. George J. Schunck of The Young Agency and Roger G. Moreland of Ellis Moreland and Ellis Inc. avoided probation after pleading guilty to conspiracy. They also agreed to restitution totaling 115000 to Onondaga County.
