Scientists: Deep blue seas are getting warmer
NOAA researchers report oceans have warmed significantly since the 1950s, with depth dependent increases from 0.1 to 0.5 degrees Fahrenheit. The study spans Pacific Atlantic and Indian oceans, using over 5 million readings from 1948 to the present, noting warming down to 19,000 feet and suggesting natural and human factors.
