Private U.S. firm guides Saudi National Guard role
Vinnell, a Carlyle Group owned contractor, trains Saudi Arabia's National Guard with U.S. Army advisers. The three year 163 million dollar Saudi deal marks Vinnell sharing proceeds with the crown prince's brother as partner. The operation employs 550 non Americans and extends to four more guard sites, while reflecting a long standing U.S. Saudi alliance and advisory ties.
