Former Black Panther arrested in Alabama
Al Amin, former Black Panther leader known for the phrase violence is as American as cherry pie, was arrested in Montgomery after a shootout with U S marshals during an Atlanta deputy killing investigation. He hid in a shed, was captured unharmed, with no officers injured. Several others detained on possible harboring charges.
