Texas woman searches for Syracuse family she never knew

Barbara Dwyer Brazill of Plano plans to fly to Syracuse to continue a seven year effort to locate her biological parents who left her at St. Marys Hospital in Syracuse thirty two years ago this week. Her mother reportedly took her there when she was two months old and Brazill has only vague details about her father and grandfather.

Shuttle mission could be shortened amid fuel cell issue

At Cape Canaveral a hydrogen tank showed erratic pressure, forcing Discovery’s five astronauts to power down systems to conserve energy. Control said a four-day mission remains possible with contingency to extend two days if landing delays occur, NASA officials cautioning no decision yet. The isolation of the tank left three other tanks to feed fuel cells as engineers study the cause.
