Car strikes man on Thompson Road injuring 65
Cornelius Mc Ginty a 65 year old resident of 1516 E Genesee street was reported in critical condition at Onondaga General Hospital after being struck by a car on Thompson Road near the Oberdorfer Foundry. Driver Donald W Gridley 25 of 717 Schuyler Street told deputies he skidded on ice while leaving the Oberdorfer plant at about 5 19 AM. He was driving about 20 miles an hour and said he saw two pedestrians before the collision. No summons issued.
