Former GI chauffeur Melle testified that Major General Bennett Meyers offered $2000 to falsify testimony in Meyers wartime profits trial. Melle said Meyers coached him to claim a Cadillac gift from Aviation Electric Co of Dayton. The case ties to Inducing Blorol H Lamarre and a Senate probe into wartime profits.
