The National Weather Service at Hancock Airport forecasts cloudy and mild conditions through Tuesday. Tonight will be cloudy with lows around 30 to 35 degrees, tomorrow’s high near 45 to 50, and a chance of showers Sunday and Monday. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with 30s for lows and 50s for highs.
In Dryden New York authorities report 5 year old Matthew Quinlan vanished from Congers Trailer Park on Kirk Road yesterday. State police located an uncovered septic tank two trailers from the home and recovered the body after probing with a rod. No tank cover was found at the scene.
London AP reports eight OPEC members reached an understanding on prices and production and invited five others to a full meeting Monday. UAE oil minister Mana Saeed Oteiba would not define the understanding or confirm a $30 a barrel base price to stay competitive with Britain and Nigeria.
An 8.0 magnitude quake rattled eastern South Dakota near Sioux Falls early today, but only minor damage was reported. The AP noted this was the second such quake in four months, with no injuries or major destruction documented.
