Learning disabled players find path to college success
Syracuse University stars Otis Hill and Jason Cipolla, both learning disabled, credit academic support and mentors like Terry MacDonald for their college progress. The pair, among 500 SU students with learning disabilities, describe early struggles, late diagnosis, and adapting with books on tape and extended time for tests. Both plan post basketball work with children and emphasize education as key to their futures.
