Moving cost bill moves toward ok
The Senate Government Operations Committee unanimously approved a bill identical to a House measure. It would fund one house-hunting trip for relocating federal employees and provide up to two weeks salary or 632 dollars for moving expenses. Homeowners could be compensated for buying and selling, but not for losses on sale. The bill also increases moveable furniture limit from 7 000 to 100 pounds.
