Thieves burglarize closed Boss Market after closure
Police closed Boss Market at 1561 S Salina for 60 days under nuisance abatement after 17 drug related arrests in five months. The store was burglarized twice within 24 hours, with about 45000 dollars in merchandise stolen and 32000 dollars in damage reported. Owner Nasser Totari blamed police for failing to secure the premises but police said they did not seize the building, only ordered a 60 day shutdown.
