Women Canvassers Seek Blood Donors in Syracuse

Red Cross organizers launched house to house canvassing in Syracuse to recruit blood donors for the nine county project. Volunteers including Mrs Nelson LaPrease and Mrs C J LaMey will register donors for future appointments at the Red Cross Center 749 S Warren St, ensuring a steady supply to meet hospital needs.

Solvay Girl Injured When Hit by Car

Solvay seven year old MON CA SOBOLEWSKHE of 20 Eis Street was treated for minor injuries after being struck by a car in the 209 block of N Geddes Street. The vehicle was driven by Mrs Mary Dana of 3210 S Salina Street. The girl was treated by Dr Thaddeus B Gor of 408 N Geddes Street. Investigating officers Sgt Sam Nappi and Acting Sgt Dennis Flynn reported no ticket issued to Mrs Dana.
