Encampment-bound peace walk draws near Rome
About 19 protesters from Boston joined 13 local anti nuclear demonstrators outside Griffiss Air Force Base as they head for Romulus to join a July 7 encampment. Organizers say the walk aims to call world attention to nuclear war risks and to press for peace while stressing nonconfrontation with the base.
