First Lady Hillary Clinton Testimony Details Billing Records Delay
In secret grand jury testimony Hillary Rodham Clinton attributed a two year delay in turning over her law firm billing records to prosecutors to a low level aide handling personal papers. Officials familiar with the Jan 26 1996 appearance say prosecutors asked about Foster’s documents and Castle Grande while noting no questions on 1980s Arkansas land deal. The disclosure comes as Supreme Court allows release of notes from presidential lawyers and White House aides amid ongoing Whitewater probes.
